What is a Hand Therapist?

A hand therapist can be either an occupational or physical therapist who through advanced study and certification, specializes in rehabilitating individuals with problems affecting the hands and arms.  

How long do I need to receive therapy treatment?

The treatment duration can vary from 1 to 3 times a week for three to four weeks.  The number of weeks can be shorter or longer depending on the severity of the condition.  Each client can expect a 45 to 60 minute tratment per session.

What insurances are accepted in the therapy office?

We accept all insurances and have various payment plans and options.

Do I need a doctor's prescription?

If you have one, please bring it with you during the intial visit.  If you are choosing to pay for sevices without an insurance,  you will not need a prescription during the intital consultation.
